Hands-on reviews vs. research-based guides
We clearly label every piece of content as one of the two: a hands-on review means a member of our team used the product directly. A research-based buying guide means our recommendation is built from manufacturer specifications, verified owner feedback, and comparative research, without physical hands-on testing. We will never imply hands-on testing occurred when it didn’t.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the update date on the article. Significant corrections are noted directly in the piece. You can report an error via our contact page.
Updates
Buying guides and comparisons are living documents. We revisit them periodically to check prices, availability, and whether a newer product has replaced our pick — each article shows both its original publish date and its last-updated date.
