When an article is labeled hands-on, a member of our team used the product for real tasks relevant to its category — not just a first-impressions unboxing. We disclose how the unit was obtained (purchased, manufacturer loan, or retailer sample) in every hands-on review.
What we won’t do
- We won’t publish a star rating or “verdict” badge without a documented basis for it.
- We won’t accept a manufacturer’s suggested review copy or marketing claims as fact without independent verification.
- We won’t use fabricated urgency (“only 2 left!”) or invented discounts to drive clicks.
